Earnimals is a family screen-time app: kids earn screen time by reading, playing and doing chores, and grown-ups keep an eye on it. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell your data, and we never show ads.
What we collect
- Your sign-in account. When a grown-up signs in with Google or Apple we receive a name, an email address (Apple may give us a private relay address) and an account id. This is how we keep your family's data separate from everyone else's.
- What your family enters. Kids' first names (or nicknames), colors and avatars; routines, chores and earning activities; and the activity log the app runs on — what was earned, what was watched or played, and the time balances that result.
- Website analytics. On earnimals.app we use PostHog to count page views and app usage so we can improve the product. The iPhone and iPad app does not track you.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, health data or payment details, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Kids
Earnimals is used by kids but set up and owned by a grown-up. Kids don't create accounts or give us any contact information; a parent adds them by first name only. Nothing a child does in the app is shared outside your family.
How we use it
Only to run the app for your family: to show balances, routines and logs on your devices and keep them in sync. We store data with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Neon) in the United States, who process it on our behalf only.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all of your family's data at any time from Grown-ups → Settings → Delete account & all data in the iPhone/iPad app, or by emailing us at support@bandloop.net. Deletion is permanent.
